New Mass Email Domains and Servers The design of the current footprint of email domains and servers at the University can occasionally lead to issues where messages are blocked when a system sends a high volume of email. New servers and domains are being created to ensure the uconn.edu domain does not get blocked in these scenarios. |

M365 | Data Loss Prevention Data Loss Prevention (DLP) provides functionality to ensure that University data is kept secure as it traverses Email, SharePoint, and other online and physical storage mechanisms. Sensitivity Labels, Retention Policies, and other features will be rolling out as tags that can be added to documents or SharePoint sites to ensure documents are not shared or removed without approval. |

M365 | Storage Quotas After changes by Microsoft, the University's Microsoft 365 tenant is currently consuming more storage than is alloted. We are currently in a grace period, however will need to reduce our storage footprint to ensure no interruptions in service. Quotas will be communicated and deployed to employees and students for mailboxes and SharePoint/OneDrive |
